While spring is approaching in the northern hemisphere, the summer is turning to fall in Chile. This means it is time for the wine festivals in the vineyards surrounding Santiago.  On this occasion, the Chileans celebrate their exclusive vineyards in festivals dedicated to wine. 

Chile is the world’s fifth largest wine exporter. Wine has a long history in Chile since it was brought over by the Spanish in the 16th century. One of the typical Chilean wines is the "Carménère" since there is no other region of the world where this grape grows as successfully as in Chile.
