An online bilingual news and business intelligence service operator which deals with the acquisition and procurement of business news throughout Latin America and the Caribbean looks for your help. You will be especially responsible for the sales of corporate subscriptions. Only in South America, over 150 professionals provide more than 75.000 clients with current economic developments and business news. You will have daily contact with business executives and create news in English as well as in Spanish.

The international operating company has subsidiaries in Mexico City, Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo. The headquarters are located in the modern business district of Las Condes in the capital Santiago de Chile. Your workplace Santiago is Chile’s most important economic and cultural center, it is surrounded by the summits of the Andes and provides as a six million metropolis the perfect place for a unique traineeship with option of a subsequent employment.

Your Responsibilities

As a trainee you assist the multicultural team within the following projects:

• Organization and development of professional business relationships with clients
• Closing accounts and generation of sales leads in North America, Europe and Latin America
• Management of the entire sales process (e.g. proposal, profit expectations, closure)
• Attending conferences and industry related trade shows
• Creating sales reports and forecastings

Your Requirements

• fluency in English and Spanish
• availability for 12 months
• previous experience in sales / marketing and in managing high-level client relationships
• strong organizational and administrative skills
• result oriented and self motivated
• able to communicate effectively in a challenging environment
• teamwork
• flexible and eager to learn
