Your Workplace

The small farm is specialized in the breeding of exotic birds. For more than 16 years it has gained a lot of experience in the area of upbringing birds and offer a big variety such as chicken, ducks, parrots, pheasants, peafowls and emus. Furthermore, the farm is involved in agriculture and the production of natural products such as jam. There are also housing guests from around the world getting an idea of the farm and helping out in feeding the animals and with the harvest. The farm is situated about 250km south of Santiago, the capital of Chile. The region of Talca is the origin of the „huasos“, the Chilean cowboys, with still lots of colonial farms. Furthermore, there are lots of wineries nearby to visit and the coast can be reached within 3 hours. This region is rich of flora and fauna.

Your Responsibilities

You assist the family with the following activities:

• Taking care and feeding the animals
• Production and selling of natural products
• Receiving the tourists
• Farm work

Requirements

• Having fun dealing with animals and being in nature
• Good language skills in English and Spanish
• Enjoy dealing with guests
• Male gender
