Program Info

From backpackers to travel groups – every year more and more tourists find their way to Chile to discover this unique and diverse country. The tourism sector has been booming for years, which are the best conditions for a well-organized Working Holiday placement. Participants can choose from all kinds of locations throughout the country with a program start date anytime during the year.

Work Tasks

The tasks depend on the work place. The hospitality sector also works on weekends and during the nights. Accordingly, participants should be open to shift work. Participants usually work with national and international clients, e.g. at the front desk, house-keeping, breakfast service, etc.

Some of your work tasks may include:

  Work at the reception
  Assisting with Check-in and Check-out
  Responding to booking inquiries
  Helping with room service
  Cleaning and Maintenance
  Preparing and serving breakfast
  Translation support (spoken and written)
  Helping with administrative tasks

Accommodation and Board

During your Work & Travel program in Chile you will be accommodated directly on site at your work place. You will be either staying in a single room or share a dormitory with fellow co-workers or guests. You will receive board in form of breakfast, half-board or full-board. Board can be provided as already prepared meals, or you will receive groceries or money to go buy food in order to prepare it yourself.
