The several thousand-meter-high Andes are provided with plenty of snow every year and thus, between the end of May and September, offer excellent conditions for skiing or snowboarding.
Chile is known internationally for world-class ski slopes and is a popular destination for international professional athletes, so they can train even when the northern hemisphere has summertime.
Our program sites are located either in Chile's central region, i.e. in the ski resorts around Santiago de Chile or in southern Chile in the area around Chillan, Temuco, Villarrica and Osorno.
Even for "non-skiers" the Andes offer a lot of winter fun in so-called snow parks. Here children and adults can let off steam in the snow and try out activities such as tubing, tobogganing, snow-biking or canopy.
Detailed information regarding your placement will be completed. So, before your adventure starts, you will know exactly where you work and live.
