You love horses, you like to be out in the fresh air and you can work hard? Imagine exploring the Patagonian expanses on horseback - wind in your hair, the smell of freedom in your nose and a spectacular mountain panorama in mind.
Or, like a real "cowboy" you make your way over hills and valleys, through jungle and along wild rivers.
Or, you look after horses in front of an idyllic vineyard scenery with pleasant sunshine, while on the northern hemisphere, the winter keeps coming.
Sounds tempting? Then come to Chile and work on a horse farm. It does not matter how old you are; As long as you are of legal age and have riding experience, farm work with horses is a wonderful option for you. In a very authentic way, you will get to know the locals, improve your Spanish skills and have an unforgettable time.
This Farm Stay program is all about the horse. You should be physically fit to help with the stable work, as well as being able to work in a team and have a high sense of responsibility.
There are horse farms in different regions of Chile, from the central region with Mediterranean climate over the idyllic green lake region down to Patagonia. We point out that some of our program sites are remote, so you can expect no leisure activities as in the city. Instead you will have an unforgettable time in the countryside and you will experience how well it can be to live in harmony with animals and nature.
When you submit your application, you are welcome to share your expectations and wishes regarding your placement. We will then focus on it as best we can. Your individual program description will be send to you after we have completed the placement process. So, before you book your farm stay you will have further information on location, tasks, working hours, accommodation, etc.
