​Marco´s Internship in Santiago

​Hello everyone!

My name is Marco, I am 21 years old and I am Italian.I am an “Economics & Politics” student at the University of Kent (UK, England). Last summer I carried out an internship in Chile and I decided to contact Chile Inside.

I am extremely happy for the place they found me, as I learnt a lot both in terms of work experience and in terms of my personal relations with Chileans. I worked 2 months for a consultancy company, in which both partners and regular workers treated me very happy, without putting pressure on me and always trying to make me feel as much relaxed as possible.

I had the possibility to accompany my colleagues to different meetings, thereby seeing for the first time in my life how suppliers deal with customers. Moreover, I received a formal recommendation letter from my company in the end of August. I can honestly say that Chile Inside found a great place for me to start off my experience in the world of work.

On the other hand, I was not fully satisfied with the accommodation, as the “house manager” had a very strange and ambiguous behavior (…). Nevertheless, the location was great (only 2 underground stops from my office), located in “Las Condes”, nearby the city center.
